1. What GARBAJodi is
GARBAJodi, operated by the operator of GARBAJodi, helps adults find companions or groups for Garba and Dandiya events. You create or join “Dandiya Plans”, send interest to other people’s plans, and chat once both sides agree. GARBAJodi is not a dating, matrimonial, escort or paid-companionship service, and it does not sell event tickets. Event information comes from public sources; check details and tickets with the organiser.
2. Who can use it
You must be 18 or older. You confirm this when you sign up and we refuse profiles with an age under 18. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we close it. Provide accurate information and keep your password private.
3. What you must not do
You must not post, send or share anything that:
- belongs to someone else and you have no right to share;
- is obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, sexually explicit, or invades someone’s privacy, including bodily privacy;
- shares intimate images of anyone without consent, including morphed or AI-generated images;
- is harmful to children, or involves anyone under 18;
- harasses, threatens, blackmails or insults anyone, including on the basis of gender, religion, caste, race or ethnicity;
- impersonates another person or misleads people about who you are;
- offers or asks for sexual services, paid companionship or anything illegal, or asks people for money;
- reveals someone’s private information (address, phone, documents) without their consent;
- infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights;
- is false and meant to mislead or harm, contains malware, or otherwise breaks Indian law.

4. Your content
You keep ownership of what you post. You allow us to host and show it to other users as the product requires (for example, showing your plan in the feed). Public plans can be seen by anyone, including people who are not signed in.
5. Moderation and enforcement
Anyone can report a profile, plan or message. Reports are reviewed by moderators. Reports of intimate images, sexual content, content involving minors or impersonation are prioritised and the reported content may be hidden while it is reviewed. If you break these Terms we may remove content, limit features, or suspend or close your account. If you think we got it wrong, you can ask for a review through the Grievance Officer.
6. Meeting people offline
GARBAJodi does not check people’s identity, background or criminal record, and cannot guarantee anyone’s conduct. A verification badge only confirms what it says (for example, that someone confirmed a college email address). Meet in public, at the event, and read the Safety Center.
7. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from your profile. Some records are kept for a limited time where the law requires it (see the Privacy Notice).
8. Changes
We will tell you about material changes. You will be asked to accept the new version before continuing to use plans, interests and chat. We remind all users of these Terms at least once a year.
