Community Guidelines
GARBAJodi is about dancing together. Treat everyone the way you would on the Garba floor.
Not allowed — content may be removed and accounts suspended
- Anyone under 18. GARBAJodi is 18+. Don’t create plans for, invite, or share content involving minors.
- Sexual content or solicitation. No nudity, sexual messages, requests for sexual services, escorting or “paid companions”.
- Intimate images without consent, including morphed or AI-generated images. These reports are handled urgently.
- Harassment, threats, blackmail and stalking, including repeated messages after someone says no.
- Hate based on religion, caste, gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, disability or region.
- Impersonation and fake profiles. Use your own name and photos.
- Sharing private information — someone’s address, phone number, documents or live location — without consent.
- Scams and money requests. Never ask other users for money, UPI transfers or bank details.
- Illegal activity, including drugs, weapons and alcohol for anyone underage.
- Spam and copying other people’s photos, posters or text you don’t have the right to use.
Plans
- Plans are for Garba and Dandiya events. Use the event venue or a public spot (entrance, gate, food court) as the meeting point.
- Never put a home address in a plan, and don’t ask people to come to a private home.
Feedback
Post-event feedback is about behaviour — respect, punctuality, communication, dance compatibility. Never rate appearance.
Reporting
Use Report on any profile, plan or message, or contact the Grievance Officer (no account needed). Reports are confidential: we never tell anyone who reported them. False reports made to harass someone are themselves a violation.
