Your data rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can:

• Access — download a copy of your data: Settings → Notifications → “Download my data”.
• Correct and update — edit your profile at any time from your profile page.
• Erase — delete your account from your profile page. Your profile, photos, plans, interests, jodis, messages and notifications are deleted. Kept for a limited time where the law requires: your email and sign-up date (180 days), reports and their evidence (at least 180 days), consent records.
• Withdraw consent — turn off optional emails in settings; turn off discovery; delete your account.
• Nominate someone to exercise these rights for you if you die or become unable to — tell the Grievance Officer.
• Complain — to our Grievance Officer, and then to the Data Protection Board of India.

We respond to requests within 90 days at most; most are handled instantly in the app.
